BC Hydro is partnering with business owners to shift some of your electricity use out of peak demand periods on their system, while delivering back up power to support your business in the event of a grid outage. It’s a simple way to contribute to a more stable and resilient energy system, making a meaningful impact.

For a limited time BC Hydro is offering substantial incentives to their business customers to support the acquisition, installation, and operation of advanced energy storage systems (ESS). Once installed, BC Hydro will have the ability to dispatch the ESS automatically in response to changing conditions on the power grid. These dispatch signals trigger the battery to discharge, powering the facility it's attached to and reducing demand on the grid. The battery will then recharge during non peak times, delivering a safer more reliable power grid.

50% of the incentive is paid at the time of the installation, 25% at the time of interconnection approval, and the final 25% at the time your system gets connected to BC Hydro’s Distributed Energy Resources Management System.

Yes! Eguana and our certified installation partner will assist you with all administrative processes throughout the installation and commissioning.

Yes! The Eguana has a free web app so you can monitor the status of your battery system at all times from anywhere.

Eguana works directly with you to find the best match to one of our Eguana trained and licensed electricians. This process includes an evaluation of your preferred installation location and your electrical panel followed by a full installation quotation.

The battery system measures in at 44" x 41" and is a wall mounted solution. Eguana recommends installing your Evolve LFP near your electrical panel.

Your fully charged 5kW / 14kWh system will power many essential loads at the same time. Eguana customers typically prioritize key appliances and devices for their business including refrigeration and heating as well as network devices including point of sale equipment, security and alarms, along with lighting and internet access.

Your Eguana certified installer will work with directly you to select the devices to which you can direct power and provide a more accurate estimate based on your usage patterns and key requirements.
